Activities
- Prepare and negotiate client documentation for market products and treasury groups, including contracts relating to cash, lending, foreign exchange and securities lending.
- Prepare client documentation based on approved templates and negotiate the terms of such documentation with clients and their legal counsel
- Review and assess client requests for amendments to standard documentation and facilitate escalation of issues to the team Head
- Assist with market due diligence for new and existing products.
- Assist with the research and development of new products
- Deal structuring and advice in respect of collateral
- Provide substantive legal support to Product Documentation Advisors
- Key responsibility within the global team for Luxembourg law issues
- Leverage knowledge of capital markets and investment fund industry
- Liaise with local legal counsel where necessary
Competencies
Profil
- Luxembourg-qualified lawyer with experience working in a law firm
- Experience in securities lending, credit, foreign exchange, derivatives, or structured products.
- Experience with master agreements including ISDA, FBF, GMRA, GMSLA, etc.
- Above average IT skills including proficiencies with Microsoft Word, Outlook and other applications
- Understanding and knowledge of regulatory environment and standards
Qualifications
- University or Post-graduate Degree
- Law Degree (Luxembourg law)
Languages
- Native or near-native English, plus fluent German or French
