LEGAL COUNSEL recruitment
Our Group legal team is now looking for two legal counsels specializing in one of the following areas: (1) General commercial and transactions; or (2) Treasury, risk, capital management, and investment.
Reporting to the Group Senior Counsel, the successful candidates will provide legal support by reviewing, drafting and advising on contracts / commercial documentation; coordinating with related parties, including country /external counsels and functional areas within the Company, and supporting business initiatives. Ad hoc commercial-legal work also forms part of the role.
The potential candidates will be expected to be qualified lawyers in Hong Kong or other recognized jurisdictions with at least four years’ of post-qualification experience in general commercial and transactions for one role and treasury, risk, capital management, and investment areas for the other. High degree of proficiency in English, excellent presentation, communication, and people skills; proficient draft and analytical skills are all crucial to the role. Written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) would be beneficial. Ability to deal with multiple projects and competing priorities, work independently in a corporate environment is a must. He /she should also stay abreast of and ensure full compliance with legal requirements, as well as internal policies.
