Legal Counsel, Treasury (Non Banking) recruitment
• Will provide legal support and counselling to Treasury and Finance function of our client in particular to the supply and trading business (“ISB”), Shipping, Storage and Upstream businesses.
• Legal support will covers all aspects of Treasury and Finance including trade finance, securitization, project financing, capital markets work.
• Experience in ISDA and CSA documentation would be a bonus although not compulsory.
• Will work closely with the other Legal teams supporting the various businesses including HK, Singapore and PRC legal teams.
Requirements:
• Qualified lawyer with at least 8 years’ experience, preferably with in-house experience in listed company; experience in oil or shipping industry is an advantage.
• More than 3 years’ experience in Treasury and Finance preferably in commodity trade finance in private practice or financial institution.
• Ability to work well with persons particularly key stakeholders in the business.
• Strong analytical skills and innovative mind-set.
• Excellent research, drafting and communication skills are required.
• Strong organization skills and ability to maintain high quality output in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
• Mature, tactful, organized, dynamic, open-minded and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral English and Chinese is preferred in order to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates.
• Strong negotiation, communication, relationship and stakeholder management skills
• Strong commercial business acumen
• Understand and appreciate regional cultures and customs
