Legal Entity Analyst recruitment
The holder of this role should hold strong conversational skills and be able to deliver varied reports to senior management. You will need to have strong management and financial accounting experience, as well as good analytical skills and relevant product knowledge, developed within the financial service industry. Due to the nature of the role, the candidate requires strong technical proficiency, specifically Macro or VBA level Excel, as well as 2-3 years post qualified experience within investment banking. The successful candidate will need to have a good working knowledge of financial products, and have the ability to perform the accounting around these.
The Key function of the role is day to day management of financial information delivery and financial control.
Subsequent responsibilities include:
- Daily management tasks in running Legal Entity team
- Control of the month-end close and submission to HO for consolidation, liaising with business finance to resolve reporting issues.
- Liaison with US regulators and the external audit team for financial reporting issues.
- Analysis and implementation of changes in local accounting and financial reporting regulations.
- Provision of appropriate financial analysis and reporting as requested
- Monitoring the integrity of the local and US books and records of the legal entity, to be executed with reference to the Legal Entity Control Standards policy and other applicable global policies, escalating issues as appropriate.
