Legal Team Admin

Asset management firm based in the West End is looking for a team assistant/administrator to join their Legal team.

This is a very busy team of 10 people including lawyers and paralegals. This growing asset management firm is looking for an administrator to take care of all the administrative duties in the legal team. This is an essential team in the firm and the right candidate will need to be willing to deal with extremely confidential and sensitive information.

Your main accountabilities will be:

• Providing administrative support to the Legal and Transaction Management team, including ad hoc secretarial support
• Acting as the main point of contact for legal team
• Coordination and arrangement of all relevant legal documents
• General documentation support including word and excel skills
• Liaising with counterparties and custodians to arrange execution of document
• Maintaining record of legal spend
• Payment of legal fees and update of legal fee database including calculating required payments and preparing payment instructions with all appropriate fund and bank details, faxing/emailing instructions, and acting as a central point for all queries
• Maintaining the legal intranet, an electronic library of advice and templates
