We presently have an exciting opportunity for:
Line Cook
SCOPE:
To provide prompt, courteous, accurate food service that exceeds guest expectations by preparing all food items to standard recipe specifications.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES AND DUTIES:
§ Minimize waste and record waste daily
§ Maintain a safe and sanitary work station and environment
§ Maintain proper uniform standard
§ Ensure you are stocked and prepped for your shift
§ Maintain communication with front of the house staff
§ Operate your work station in accordance to all Fire, Health, AGCO regulations and laws governing the province
§ Maintain daily, weekly side duties and cleaning schedules
§ Maintain service standards, opening and closing duties
§ Have extensive product knowledge and be familiar with all specials and promotions
§ Attend all departmental meetings
§ Restock and prep for next shift
§ Perform all other duties assigned by the Manager on duty
§ This role is normally scheduled evenings and weekends. No day shifts available.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
§ Experience in food service industry
§ Food Safe Certified
§ Must be able to work flexible hours.
§ Willing to learn and be part of a team
§ Good communication skills
