What you will be doing:
As the Manager Transmission, distribution, and substation you will be charged with building and mentoring a team of designers, project managers, and consultants in the power team in Brisbane. You will report to the group Manager and have direct PL responsibility for the group. You will use your existing contacts and expertise to generate business opportunities.

This global consultancy is based In the Asia PAcific Region with more offices in very state. Their offering spans every facet of industry including energy, transport, and water, OG, mining, and building. The Brisbane office is located in the heart of the CBD. The line management team is well known in the industry for their excellence both in delivering the project from the client point of view and as mentors and growing teams from the company point of view.
What you must have to apply for this role:
- Have circa ten or more years direct industry experience in Power TD and Substation
- Have worked for a design consultancy or utility in a design or senior project management position.
- Have man management experience
- A Keen understanding of business drivers in the utility space
- A good reputation in the industry and a good contact base on which to draw upon.
You will be highly regarded if you also have:
- Similar experience in power generation
- A senior project Manager with a design background looking step up in your career.
- A Design Manager looking for that next step
