Liquidity Sales Associate

Position Description

External wholesaling position calling on/marketing to key decision makers in corporate treasure departments and bank capital markets desks. Role requires calling on/marketing to government agencies, financial institutions and educational entities. Responsible for marketing Morgan Stanley products including money market funds, fixed income products and separately managed accounts. In addition to new business development, role also includes ongoing relationship management.

Skills Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 4-6 years of industry experience
Sales experience, ideally selling liquidity products
• License requirements: Series 7 63
• A results-oriented individual who thrives on achievement and performance
• Works effectively and supports a team-oriented approach
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet both internal and external demands.
• Excellent communications skills (written and oral, including excellent telephone manner), interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Strong professional approach with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and to manage time effectively
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
