Lithography Engineer Job in Minneapolis 55401, Minnesota US
This Lithography Engineer will report to the Managing Principal Engineer of the Wafer Process Development group at Seagate's Bloomington, MN facility.
We are looking
for a talented Lithography Engineer to
work in the Transducer Development Team.
This engineer will work on developing lithography processes for the next
generation recording heads. It is an opportunity
to learn and develop expertise in the entire wafer build, as well as, influence
decisions on the transducer design and build. This is also an opportunity to
work on a variety of lithography processes, from leading edge 193nm scanners,
to DUV and I-line stepper and processes. In addition this person will
contribute to the technical direction of transducer development.
The key skills
required are:
- Technical
expertise in lithography: Will use a solid understanding of the
fundamentals of lithography and continual development of these skills. - Effectiveness: This individual will learn quickly, manage one’s time, and
consistently generate results is critical. - Collaboration: Will collaboration with
engineers in other disciplines is also very important in this role. Timely communication on product requirement
along with discussion and analysis of trade-offs between different approaches
is essential. - Communication:
This person will communicate project plans and essential information in
a clear and straightforward manner in all forms of communication (one on one,
presentations in meetings, and written documentation to all key stakeholders.
Requirements:
-
5 years
professional engineering experience and 4 years experience as a lithography
engineer is required. -
Requires the ability to learn quickly, manage one’s time, and
consistently generate results is critical. -
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- This individual
will be challenged to use their knowledge of recording head or semiconductor
FAB operations and expertise with design of experiment methodologies and
statistical methods. - A minimum of BS
in Engineering, Material Science, Physics or Chemistry is required.
