Due to growth a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Litigation Solicitor specialising in professional negligence to join a hugely successful and very well regarded team in our established Oldham-based (Manchester) practice.
As a Litigation Solicitor you will be assigned with your own caseload of Professional Negligence claims, which arise out of a government-run compensation scheme. The majority of these will already be, or are soon to be in litigation. All of these claims are Multi Track.
Duties:
- Caseload will continue to increase as cases approach particular stages and proceedings need to be commenced
- You will be required to get to grips with the scheme, which developed over a 10-year period. In addition, understanding its evolvement over time, its mechanisms and procedures
- Where necessary, providing support to HOD in various areas
- In addition, you will be expected to contribute ideas on strategy and group handling
This is an intellectually challenging role which will require strong academic ability and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
