Working within the IT department you will work in a small team of software developers working on in-house solutions.
Based at our site in Bradford your role will be to develop Transport and Warehousing software solutions using .NET and SQL 2005 as well as supporting and enhancing a small number of legacy systems.
This exciting role offers you the opportunity to enhance your skills and work with the latest technologies within a technically capable team.
You will be responsible for developing software in a structured fashion inline with the existing standards. You must have a proven track record of working on data handling and transactional systems. You will demonstrate an ability to work individually or in a small team to complete high quality software for a variety of different projects. You must be fully competent and have experience with the following:
Mandatory:
Microsoft Visual Basic .NET 2008 or 2010
ASP.NET
Object Orientated Programming
Microsoft SQL Server 2005
TSQL
ADO.NET
2 years commercial experience
Advantageous:
Compact Framework 3.5
.Net Web Services
Successful candidates will be asked to demonstrate experience in software development using the aforementioned technologies.
The successful candidate will be working in a fast moving environment, designing and building efficient and scalable solutions.
