Prudential Mortgage Capital Company (PMCC) is one of the nation's leading providers of commercial mortgages on multifamily, retail, office, industrial, and hotel properties. The company offers one of the most comprehensive lines of real estate finance products in the market, including (i) fixed-rate, floating-rate and interim/bridge loans; (ii) Fannie Mae DUS", Freddie Mac and FHA lending; and (iii) and affordable housing financing. PMCC is seeking a Loan Closer to join its Agency Closing team. This position will be located in Arlington, Virginia. The Closing Team's primary responsibility is to coordinate the closing of multifamily loans in accordance with the Fannie Mae DUS", Freddie Mac and PMCC guidelines. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to: · Manage multiple multifamily commercial agency loan closings from pre-closing to post-closing. · Ensure diligent communication between PMCC, Counsel and Borrowers. · Coordinate rate lock between PMCC and Borrowers. · Prepare transaction appropriate investor waivers to include loan document modifications. · Review and accurately deliver loans to investor for purchase. · Work with insurance consultants to acquire all required insurance accord forms and policies needed for closing. · A minimum of 5 years multifamily and commercial loan closing experience. A minimum of a BS / BA degree in real estate, finance or a related discipline is preferred. · Keen understanding of the Fannie Mae and/or Freddie Mac loan programs, including a working knowledge of the guidelines regulating agency loans is preferred. · Strong knowledge of commercial mortgage loan documentation and the processes and procedures applicable to closing and servicing loans. · Strong organizational skills required with the ability to multi-task and work independently in a time sensitive environment where meeting established deadlines are critical. · Strong interpersonal and customer service skills essential with the ability to create, build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties. · Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision. · Self motivated and detail-oriented essential. · Exceptional judgment and decision making skills required. · Strong analytical and problem solving skills. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to travel as needed to attend industry conferences, management meetings and closings. · Personal computer skills (Advanced Excel, Access, Word, Microsoft Packages).
