Carrington Mortgage has multiple openings for collections starting in December/January
Requirements
- Responsible in collecting on delinquent accounts as assigned through a predictive dialer in order to achieve department objectives.
- Minimize losses to the company and accurately document accounts in accordance with FDCPA and other state and federal regulatory guidelines and company policies and procedures.
- Make outbound collection calls using a predictive dialer.
- Identify borrowers' capacity, intent and reason for delinquency with each call.
- Update application data, secure current financial information, and obtain commitments for repayment.
- Maintain call control by overcoming objections; utilize motivators and listening skills to bridge any communication gap with the borrower.
- Research and resolve inquiries and disputes and recommend appropriate collection strategy.
- Maintain accurate collection records of customer contacts. Make note of any and all actions taken directly on borrower account.
5+ years collections experience
Desire to learn and a strong work ethic
Knowledge of the mortgage industry preferred
Call center experience preferred
