Loan Syndicate (H/F) recruitment
Within the Debt Platform unit of the Capital Markets Division, you will assist the Leveraged Loan Syndicate team to syndicate credit facilities in the European market supporting Private Equity Sponsors or Corporates in their acquisitions.
You will work on the full range of tasks required to effectively originate, structure, price and distribute syndicated Leveraged Loans in a highly competitive marketplace:
- Credit assessment for each transaction opportunity
- Pricing and liquidity analyses specific for each transaction
- Preparation of pitch books to support Natixis’ financing proposals for Equity Sponsors or Corporates
- Implementation of syndication strategies
- Negotiation the mandate terms conditions
- Provide regular market updates on the European Leveraged Market trends
- Maintain updated LBO databases
- Close monitoring of the performance of a syndication
- Prepare supporting documents prior to syndication including term sheets, invitation letters, information memoranda / teasers and bank meeting information materials
- Follow up with other arrangers and potential investors (banks or institutional investors) during the distribution process
- Assistance with the internal reporting process
Job specifics
- International working environment
- Close liaison with the origination teams, sales team and trading desk
Education and previous experience
- Bac + 5 (University, Grandes Ecoles)
- A minimum of two years working experience in banking (ideally in fixed income or structured finance)
- Good credit knowledge
- Fluency in English and French is a prerequisite
In addition, candidates must also display the following:
- Proficiency with basic business software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), knowledge of Bloomberg
- Reliability, attention to detail, initiative and availability
- Ability to assimilate into a fast paced team environment
- Ability to manage multiple transactions at the same time
- Comfortable in working to tight deadlines.
