Responsibilities will also include assisting with the closing of Mizuho agented deals and other primary closings for the portfolio, and acting as back up for KYC registration and compliance/reporting requirements.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) General
Assist with all aspects of loan trade settlement including preparation of loan closing documentation (par and distressed), communication/coordination with external parties (assignee/assignor, agent, borrower, third party vendors, legal counsel) and internal parties (back office, account officers, legal counsel), and confirmation/calculation of funding items such as commitment amounts, outstanding balances, rates, rollover dates and delayed compensation.
2) Administrative
Track loan trade status and documentation through various web-based platforms including Wall Street Office and ClearPar. Assist with KYC registration in CCDB and Counterparty Risk Ratings registration in CDM as needed.
Assist in preparing reports and compliance requirements as appropriate.
3) Policy
Monitor changes to LSTA market standards/procedures and update front office, back office and accounting staff.
Understand, review and help modify internal guidelines, rules and procedures for secondary trading activities.
Adhere to legal and regulatory guidelines in promoting bank and securities firm products and services.
4) Management Responsibilities
Work with other groups as part of the customer relationship management and business development functions.
5) Behavioral Competencies:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adaptable and able to work independently when necessary, organized and detail oriented.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS OR EXPERIENCE:
5-10 years experience closing par and distressed loan trades in the U.S. syndicated loan market. Primary and secondary closing experience preferred. College degree preferred.
OTHER/MISCELLANEOUS:
Experience using ACBS is helpful but not required.
