Loans Administration Manager

This department is responsible for providing oversight on the day-to-day activities for the Loan and Global Services team in London. Collaborating with peers and cross functional disciplines to establish and implement an appropriate support model in London to support loan and trade products for Corporate and Global Finance Institutions customers.

Responsibilities:

To motivate and manage a team of 10 people
Review regulatory requirements and their effects on Loan Administration and Global Trade Services.
Continuously review and streamline operational processes to increase efficiencies, controls, minimize operational risk and prevent potential losses.
Initiate and lead efforts in support of the emerging European business products, relating to Loan Administration and Trade Services requirements.
Keep up with industry initiatives that impact the business in London.
Identify and create enhanced metrics to track flawless execution.
Control of forecast accuracy and efficiency, indentifying cost saving opportunities.
Monitor and manage security access for assigned ABO delegate profile (IBIS, AQUA Loan IQ EXIMBILLS).
Mentor staff, facilitating training development to ensure full cross training coverage within department.
Manage Staff objectives and the completion of mid-year and year end performance reviews

Requirements:

Extensive International Operations experience in loans administration
Subject matter expertise in Loan facility documentation and overall experience in Loan Administration.
Sound knowledge of the latest UCP, URR, Incoterms, URC URDG Rules and Regulations that apply to documentary credits.
Ability to lead a diverse team.
CDCS qualification is desirable but not essential.
