Local Business Manager

Our client is a high profile banking institution looking to recruit a Business Manager to cover the Worthing marketplace.

The successful candidate will have previous relationship management experience in a business banking environment, excellent cross-sales experience and proven business development skills.

Day to day duties will include the management of a portfolio of 300 local connections in the SME / OMB market, with a turnover to circa£1million. You will also be expected to hit a ‘new business target’ aimed at attracting new-to-bank customer accounts.

Along with ensuring first class customer service levels an integral part of the position involves cross selling the banks additional products including credit cards, invoice finance, asset finance, private banking services etc.

The ability to prioritise and manage your own diary is essential as you will continually drive and develop portfolio income through the identification of new business opportunities within the portfolio and the generation of new clients through a referral network.

You may also be required to coach and mentor junior managers within the team.
