Logic/Digital Custom Circuit Designer (4897) Job in Fort Collins 80524, Colorado US
Responsibilities:
Must have strong logic and/or digital custom circuit design background. Experience with CAD tools for low-power, high-performance design desirable.
- Physical design of low-power high-performance microprocessors, including floorplanning, synthesis, placement, route, clock design and power delivery, scan re-ordering, timing and power analysis, ECO changes (timing, functional, noise, yield, etc.).

Perform electrical verification of design to validate noise, electro-migration of signal and power routes, IR drop in the power grid and local heating. Implement design changes including device sizing and thresholds, shielding, timing, and adding new logic.

Apply knowledge of CMOS transistors, circuit paths, interconnect, clocking, layout-dependent effects, and power grid properties to resolve electrical issues. Solid understanding required for all aspects of VLSI physical design in taking a design from RTL/Netlist to GDSII and production.
- Knowledgeable of flow and methodology development related to the above tasks or new tasks that arise as technology changes.

Flow design and implementation via coding in various languages.

Very strong communication skills and an ability to work in large groups are essential.
- Apply knowledge of Synchronization and usage of Level shifter circuits
QUALIFICATIONS:
BS + 5-7 years or MS + 3-5 years or PhD + 1 year.
