VP Java Developer
Hays are working with one of the largest financial service providers to recruit a VP, Java Developer to join their Global Markets Reference Data Technology group teams based in London. You will be responsible to support a business-critical reference data system, which is responsible for maintaining product reference data sets for Equity trading business.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a number of exciting, cutting edge technologies such as Scala, RDF Graph databases and to grow as a technologist within a wider technology group.
As a Java Developer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
• Core Java
• Oracle: including SQL*Plus, PL/SQL packages and procedures, views and materialised views, and table design
• Previous experience working within the financial sector and good knowledge of equities
• Ideally Informatica, Linux, PERL, Python and shell scripting
