Long / Short Equity Analyst – Hedge Fund
A newly launched private Investment Fund with a long-term focus and a shorting angle has begun a search to bring an Equity Analyst over to their small and expert team of former Portfolio Managers. The impact of the Fund is heavily veered towards long investments but they are looking to expand their long-short equity research team now and so the candidate will have buyside experience within equities at a major fund or firm.
This is a brilliant opportunity for experienced buyside long-short equity analysts to join a fund with a truly sustainable future.
Sellside analysts will not be considered, and none equity research analysts will not be looked at. This is a specialist Equity Analyst role and only outstanding candidates will be considered
Responsibilities of the role:
- You will be expected to gather deep-dive value research on long and short investments and present to the team and to the CIO directly
- You will be focusing on a Generalist stock approach and covering Global markets
- You will take part in the team?s cross-fertilisation structure, stepping between markets and sectors to maximise knowledge
- The team operate in a flat, organic-growth structure, meaning that performance will reap large rewards
