Job Summary

Responsible for planning, developing and executing of a comprehensive Loss Prevention Program for multi-unit line of business. Define success across in theft, fraud and operational loss prevention. Design and execute methodologies to deliver positive results. Drive partnerships with business unit leadership and departments within the business as well as other leaders to deliver on results. Drive profit improvement through shrinkage improvement in the business.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Develops and executes a Loss Prevention Program across the business.
  • Plans, develops and executes short- and long-term strategy to protect the company assets to include physical security critical infrastructure, operational excellence and loss elimination.
  • Coordinates and maintains partnerships with all departments within businesses to positively impact loss prevention metrics. Develops high quality training as required to support loss elimination.
  • Evaluates operational processes for areas of opportunity, shrink elimination, and develops effective means to mitigate losses.
  • Establishes loss prevention and security goals, performance expectations and standards.
  • Identifies theft and fraud activity within businesses and partners with management to resolve any in-business cases.
  • Attracts, recruits and hires high-performance diverse associates into the organization.

    Work Environment

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
  • Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes or odors.
  • Typically requires overnight travel up to 50% of the time (LA, Sacramento and Bay Area) .

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be eighteen years of age
  • Must pass the Drug Test
  • Must pass the Background Check
  • Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable

    Education and Experience

  • Requires BS/BA in related discipline. 3-5 years experience in Loss Prevention field.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of managing a Loss Prevention organization in a multi-unit environment.
  • Proficient understanding of Inventory Management in Retail Industry.
