Job Summary
My client is a leading investment bank based in London. Thanks to an exciting period of growth, they require an experienced low latency C++ developer to join an exciting Greenfield opportunity. The C++ developer would join a new team, building a low-latency execution management system from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have experience in EMS development or other low latency systems.
Responsibilities for the Low Latency C++ Developer - Leading Investment Bank - London
• Developing core trading components within the EMS
• Building low latency systems to support the regulatory requirements of equity trading
• Developing client interfaces and auxiliary libraries
• Interfacing with sponsored and direct market access
• Providing 2nd tier support for the production environment in UK trading hours
Key Skills for the Low Latency C++ Developer - Leading Investment Bank - London
• Strong development experience in C++ and Boost
• Low-latency optimization experience
• Excellent commercial experience in low-latency or high performance projects dealing with concurrency systems. EMS development experience preferred.
• Experience in Intel Threading Building Blocks
• Experience in development on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Centos or Fedora
• Experience in Python and in particular interfacing with C++
• Experience with futures and FX
• Strong academic background with a Bachelor or Master degree in a hard science (with a preference for computer science)
