My client is a fast growing multi-strategy, multi-market hedge fund which has had a lot of success marrying their technology centric, next-gen smart algorithms with signal processing and artificial intelligence techniques to make big waves in the high frequency trading space.
They are seeking an exceptional C++/ Linux developer to assist in the design, development and maintenance of their trading and research infrastructures. The successful candidate will have several years’ experience in high-performance low-latency C++ systems such as network or telecommunications (FIX Protocols), and will be comfortable developing in a Linux environment
Key Skills and Duties:
- Proven, high level C++ programming abilities.
- Design and maintain fully automated C++/ Linux based trading platforms for Equities, Options, Futures.
- Microsecond signal latency.
- Design internal systems where necessary in relation to strategy execution and risk management.
- Focus on high frequency, risk averse market making, arbitrage and spread strategies.
- Expertise in FIX protocols.
- Augmenting, improving, redesigning, and/or re-implementing the internal scripting tools that support our global quantitative trading systems.
- Develop analytics, identify trading issues, analyze data sets, and troubleshoot trading issues.
- Monitor, supporting, and de-bugging the complex applications that support trading operations.
- Creating optimal, highly speed-sensitive, and scalable code that will process large amounts of data.
- Reducing latency in existing platforms.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of low latency, high performance C++ programming.
- Exceptional abilities in C++ front office programming (no back or middle office applicants will be considered or contacted).
- Expertise on Linux.
BONUS
- Experience in the Equities, Futures, Options spaces.
- Experts in C++ based Multicore/Multithreaded Lock-free/Wait-free algorithms and data structures.
