The department is responsible for providing services essential for completing the trade life cycle and servicing client needs and assets. The members of the unit are required to ensure timely and accurate research and resolution of post trade date Equity, Option Fixed Income transaction breaks versus Exchanges, ECNs and other Broker-Dealers. They also work closely with the firm's internal and external clients throughout the organization, including operational staff, Technology, Compliance, Legal, project managers, and various business units and correspondents.
- Ability to multi-task and operate under high pressured situations.
- Strong PC and Microsoft skills (Excel, Word, Access, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Interpersonal skills must be very strong and team player.
- Must have a keen ability to efficiently manage time and priorities
- Must be able to bring proactive and innovative business processing solutions to completion within deadlines and with minimal risk to the organization.
Desired Skills:
- Prior Clearing (PS) or trade support experience with Equity, Fixed Income, Options or all three.
- Knowledge of industry application ACT, OCS, RTTM and OCC.
- Experience with reconciliation processes.
- Flexible hours of availability. (Future opportunities may include working one option expiration weekend a month or PM shift)
