L/S Event Driven Equity Analyst – Top Tier Hedge Fund
A leading UK based Equity Hedge fund has released a role for Associate level Event Driven Analyst.
The hedge fund has achieved considerable success across all four team which invest in FoF, credit, equities and cross assets. The focus of the role will be globally developed markets and you will be working to a long short and event driven strategy. You will report directly to the senior fund manager and you will be hired with the intention to build up your skills and become a portfolio manager yourself.
The hedge fund are looking for someone who has a proven interest in investing. Due to the responsibilities of the role you will need to be technically very strong, calm under pressure and ambitious to really develop yourself within the team. You will need to also be confident as you will be speaking to senior figures at leading global companies. After 6 months your performance will be reviewed and if you show the required talent, you will accelerated into a more senior position where you will move closer to directly investing yourself.
In order to be suitable for the role, you MUST be -
- At Analyst level role at a top tier invest bank (there is no sector requirements)
- Have an excellent educational background (clear indication you were high up in your class)
- Additional language skills are preferable
