Alexander Black Recruitment is urgently looking for a Java Developer to join our high profile client.
Our client is a well known Swiss and Luxembourg based investment manager. They rin around $20 billion under management
This business is pioneering a new concept for the financial markets. The most important part of their product will be the enterprise-grade technology platform. The Java Developer will assist in the production of, algorithms, computational methods and optimization frameworks for these markets.
The Java Developer will also be responsible for:
- Write software design and algorithms
- Write technical design of solution responding to defined business/architecture requirements
- Implement applications (upgrades) in conformity with quality standards and best practices
- Ensure technical robustness of delivered packages
- Ensure implementation follow-up of small sized applications (changes)
- Maintain the effectiveness of systems and system configurations within the company
- Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.
- Deploy and test implemented solutions in a wide range of environments
Candidates MUST have:
- Java/Java EE with leading application servers such as JBoss orWebLogicEJB and JPA (Hibernate)Apache Tomcat
- Experience in distributed environment through ESB is a plus (Tibco SB, Camel)
- Experience with frameworks is a plus (JBoss Seam, Spring, Hibernate, AOP, JPA)
- XML/XSD and , JMS and SOAP
- Fluent in English; another European language would be an advantage
