MA ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR – PARIS OFFICE

Job description
The successful candidate will be involved in originating and executing a diverse range of corporate finance assignments with a primary focus on MA. He/she will :
- originate and execute mandates;
- manage projects on a day-to-day basis and supervise Associates and Analysts;
- perform strategic and financial analyses;
- interact with a wide range of clients from entrepreneurs to investment funds and multinationals, in the context of domestic and cross-border transactions;
- contribute to the overall development of goetzpartners in France, both internally and by developing our network and visibility.

The ideal candidate should have the following credentials :
- strong interest in the field of corporate finance with a minimum of 5-6 years’ experience in MA (internships included) with a reputed investment bank/corporate finance boutique;
- graduate of top French or European business, engineering school or university;
- outstanding analytical and quantitative capabilities;
- demonstrated client-facing and project management skills;
- good level of autonomy;
- superior verbal and written communication skills;
- French mother tongue or bilingual as French is the main working language both verbally and in writing. Excellent command of/fluency in English given significant level of cross-border work. Another European language would be a plus;
- proven team-working and managerial skills;
- ability to cope with significant workload.
