Machine Shop Helper Job in City Of Industry 91748, California US

MAIN FUNCTION:
Pulls prints, and makes work orders for all relogs and repair orders.  Works in all areas of the department as needed.

 

DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

1.  Sets-up and operates drill presses, plainers and auto drills in order to meet print specifications
2.  Sets-up and operates broaching machines in order to meet print specifications.

3. Helps the parts coordinator when needed.

4. Meets or exceeds quality and quantity standards. Established by the department
    lead person or supervisor.

5. Pull parts for shop production as needed.

6. Sets-up and operates fan balance per production needs.

7.  Performs other duties or assigned by the department supervisor.

           

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.   Ability to read blueprints and use standard M/S tools.

2.   Read and write English effectively.

3.   Able to lift 50 pounds.

4.    Self starter, ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
