Macro News Analyst
We are continuing to expand our client base throughout Europe and are seeking someone to provide coverage of European macroeconomic news from our London office.
The role involves all aspects of providing EU macroeconomic news coverage to our clients, from identifying news and determining if it is material and actionable, to writing concise time-sensitive macroeconomic comments and more in-depth macroeconomic summaries. The London team works a pattern of hours between 6am and 5pm covering the activity of all European markets.

Job Requirements :
- A passionate interest in financial markets and economics, as well as a clear understanding of how news affects equities and the broader markets
- Strong understanding of what information is most relevant to the needs of StreetAccount’s clients
- Excellent written communication skills in English and strong reading comprehension skills
- Have the ability to write accurately and concisely under pressure
- The ability to digest and analyse information quickly
- Ability to generate your own ideas and work independently
- A strong work ethic and good time management skills
