Our client is a world leading provider of integrated energy management solutions with a global presence and a reputation for quality and innovation. As a result of continued growth and expansion, an opportunity has now arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join their centre of excellence near Peterborough.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the machinery and equipment runs smoothly throughout the production and manufacturing environment.
Providing an effective and efficient maintenance service by responding to customer requirements, your main duties will include:
- assisting in the development of operating procedures and policies
- working closely with suppliers and internal customers to deliver service and value for money
- ensuring on-site contractors are adequately briefed and managed, assessing completed work
- regularly updating the production management team
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- previous experience gained with a manufacturing environment
- an electronics qualification or be a time served electrician
As a Maintenance Engineer, you must have a strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. A proactive approach is also key.
