This open position is for a Maintenance Technician in an Injection Molding Department.
This position is located in Holland, Michigan.
This is an Hourly position on a premium shift.
Job Description:
· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on all manufacturing equipment.
· Working knowledge of injection molding machines (Plastics), robots, conveyance systems, pneumatics,
· Edit/modify control programs on programmable devices (examples: A-B, SLC-500, Control Logics,Panel View, Panel View plus).
· Support day to day production requirements to maintain machinery running and producing parts in constant supply.
· Perform manufacturing-related equipment PM's assigned to you in a timely manner.
· Adhere to safety requirements.
· Participate in problem solving groups, Kaizens, and lean manufacturing activities.
· Participate in the maintenance department efforts towards achieving key measures.
Requirements:
- Journeyman Electricians license
- 3+ years of maintenance experience
- Strong trouble shooting skill
- Thorough knowledge of machine hydraulics, robotics, AB PLC's
- Ability to read machine drawings and control schematics
- Injection molding or similar process equipment maintenance experience preferred.
