Major Account Executive recruitment

Our client is a market leader in the Content Delivery Network space. They are the creators of the most pervasive, highly distributed cloud optimization platform with over 110,000 servers in 75 countries within 2000 networks.

As part of the expansion plans for the APAC region, they are seeking a Major Account Executive to join the team in Hong Kong. The role will require a professional with previous experience selling into the Finance Sector as a core vertical. This is a ‘hunter’ position and you will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, closing and growing new account business in the region.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development of a sales plan to meet quota assignment from the perspective of new customer acquisition, annuity revenue growth, breadth of product offerings, and new contract value.

• Responsible for the execution of the sales plan by teamwork effectively with Marketing, Pre/Post-sales Services and Product Marketing organizations.

• Balance work between growing a select number of established accounts, and drive new sales initiatives into Fortune 500 accounts in the assigned territories in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

• Apply Solutions Selling Methodology for managing the sales process and comprehensive solution development

Qualifications:

• Experience: 10+ years of Solution Selling with a successful track record in sales achievement.

• Deep knowledge and relationship with a number of CxO in key companies.

• Ability to work high (CxO) and wide (across departments) within assigned territories.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

• Deep industry knowledge in Financial Services Sector
