Management Accountant / Business Partner for Global Insurance Broker
This client is a global leader in the world of insurance and re insurance broking. They are a highly respected name in this field and can demonstrate an impressive track record to date. Having recently undergone a restructuring exercise in their finance team to improve the level of support that they can add to the business they are recruiting for two commercially focussed management accountants.
This role has a wide breadth of responsibilities, primarily it will focus on production of the financial/ management reporting and supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting process. It will also involve some business partnering tasks such as complex modelling and analysis for various commercial initiatives and working with operational managers to ensure they understand the financial implications of their decisions.
My client would like to appoint a qualified accountant with experience in a management accounting role and prior experience of insurance. This person would have experience of management accounting, budgeting and forecasting, posses strong data manipulation and Excel skills. Personality fit is crucial for this appointment and they are looking for a team player who strives to deliver exceptional work and wants to support the business with relevant financial information. Candidates must be confident in person and able to build effective relationships with key stakeholders. They must also have a strong commercial view and be able to use financial information to provide quality intelligence for the business.
This role is initially being offered on a 12 month contract but is likely to be extended or made into a permanent role.
