Management Accountant – Investment Banking recruitment

Key Responsibilities

• Help in the production of commentary on costs/headcount noting and explaining significant variances. Overall responsibility for all Headcount related report

• Ensuring prompt transmission of monthly cost variance analysis to Department Heads

• Responding to enquiries from Department Heads concerning costs

• Participating in the Budget / Forecast process

• Writing procedures for all aspects of the job

• Preparing accruals for recharges from/to other units on some specific areas

• To ensure that all processes are performed in accordance with documented procedures

• To actively contribute towards mitigating operational risk whilst performing daily responsibilities

The successful candidate will have:

• Advanced Excel, Business Objects and Oracle

• Knowledge of working within a matrix reporting structure

• Comfortable interacting with Senior Management

• Ability to work under pressure

• Ability to quickly understand new processes

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal

• ACCA/CIMA qualified would be desirable
