About our client
Our client is a leading UK alternative asset manager. It has a number of private equity funds under management and was one of the first funds to specialise in the cleantech and renewable energy sector. It is growing rapidly and has a track record of launching innovative funds. It is raising additional capital and has ambitious growth plans. There is now a need to hire a management accountant.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts for the fund and investment funds
- Preparing budgets and forecasts and reviewing the balance sheet and PL
- Preparing quarterly and annual FSA returns and assist auditors, tax and legal consultants
- Supervising and motivating an assistant accountant and fund accountant
Skills we’re looking for
- A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Prior private equity experience is highly desirable but not essential
- Ability to interact with senior investment professional and department heads
- An enthusiasm and interest in private equity is essential
