REGIONAL HEAD OF KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT recruitment

Our client is a major global financial services provider engaged in investment banking, private banking and investment management services with an extensive international presence. To cope with their business expansion, they are seeking an outstanding professional to join them.

To set governance and policy for information management, taking into consideration business priorities, regulatory controls, legal and compliance positions, and operational and technology limitations. Included in such governance are the likes of record retention schedules, and guidance on information transformation into value-added business knowledge. Responsible for the establishment and delivery of a group-wide program, to ensure fulfills the statutory and regulatory requirements across all countries and businesses. Responsible for the efficient and systematic control of the creation, receipt, maintenance, use and disposition of records; while data governance is a quality control discipline to enhance the quality, availability and integrity of data assets. Provide strategic leadership, collaborative coordination and policy authority at group level to achieve business-critical reforms and advances in records and information governance. Manage a team of specialists and senior managers. Has the authority to drive results using a global network of records managers and data officers in all locations and lines of business, and is expected to influence and obtain sponsorship from senior management. Ensure the group develop and maintain an up-to-date policy that is fit for purpose and in compliance with known regulatory, legislative and operational requirements.

To qualify for the position, you should be a University graduate with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience. Proven experience in information governance, record management or program management in technology or business related fields are key. Strong communications and interpersonal skills. With senior stakeholder management.
