Management Accountant/Financial Controller
A really exciting opportunity has become available for a Management Accountant/Financial Controller to be responsible for a successful company within a highly progressive group. The position is available due to a recent restructure and and will require the successful candidate to operate as part of the senior management team responsible for the following:
Overall management of the accounting, I.T. and administration functions.
Preparation and issue of weekly and monthly accounts, including commentary.
Presentation of Financials at monthly meetings.
Cash flow and capital expenditure reporting.
Preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Project appraisals and ad hoc management accounting costing and reports.
Design and implementation of a new reporting system for a subsidiary company.
Management of a small finance dept team, processing weekly and monthly
Monthly payrolls, preparing VAT returns and all the usual accounting procedures.
Completion of year end accounts and liaising with auditors to deadlines.
Provide financial information, KPI’s and support to non-finance managers.
The ideal candidate for the role will be a fully qualified accountant with previous experience of guiding a team and completing the duties highlighted. Previous experience of Group level reporting is desirable and the ability to start quickly is also important.
