Duties include:
Develops custom analyses and writes reports that assess organizational data for various needs. Provides consultation and interpretation related to statistical research and data analysis. Analyzes data for and coordinates with various units for the development of the interpretation documents. Analyzes and assists with marketing, program development, and assessment in support of Extension programs.
Utilizes GIS technology to interpret data. Conducts demographic analyses of state and local areas. Provides detailed analysis of trends, projections, quantitative and qualitative data, interprets and consults on statistical data sets and demographic information.
Coordinates with appropriate users, verifies accuracy of data, completes mandated national, state, and institutional reporting requirements.
Develops databases for Agency use as needed in conjunction with IT staff.
Collaborates with IT software development team in designing appropriate data displays and views integral to applications.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience (eight years experience with high school diploma or four years experience with associate's degree).
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher.
Required Experience:
Three years experience in data management, analysis, report development, administration or closely related work.
Preferred Experience:
Project management experience.
Required special knowledge, abilities, and skills:
Skills and abilities in the areas of data manipulation, data management, data presentation, database development, and statistical analyses. Knowledge of data retrieval, presentation and analysis software tools such as Crystal Reports, Tableau or equivalent. Skilled in database development and data management.
