Management Company Controller recruitment
A 4 billion dollar hedge fund is looking to add a Management Company Controller to their already impressive NY team. The controller will be responsible for general ledger close, monthly financial reporting, preparing consolidated financial statements, preparing financial statements, lead annual budget and forecasts, analyze variances, cash flow analysis and ad hoc reporting and projects.
The perfect person for this position will have high energy and positive attitude, with a great work ethic. They must have ability to multi-task, react well to change, possess excellent time management and organizational skills and be able to work as an effective team member.
Job Requirements: The perfect candidate for this position will have a B.S. in accounting with at least 10 years of experience within the financial services industry, 4+ years of management company reporting and hedge fund experience. CPA preferred, big four experience a plus. In addition, the candidate should have excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills, and be a self-starter. Great Plains experience a plus.
