Management Consultant – Finance Transformation
Capco is a global management consultancy, dedicated solely to the financial services industry. It has recently been positioned 27th in The Sunday Times ‘100 best companies to work for' annual list for 2013.
We are currently looking for change specialists to join our Finance Transformation Team, working as part of the Finance, Risk Compliance Practice (FRC). The FRC practice is undergoing a period of growth and there are exciting opportunities for the right candidate to play a key role in the development of Capco UK.
We are looking for people with a proven record of management consultancy as well as proven experience within the Finance Transformation space.
Key Responsibilities
· Delivery of complex Finance change projects on client site – working in teams made up of Capco and client employees at different levels
· Designing and implementing process improvement through a formal change methodology.
· Developing new ideas for realising value for Capco clients and positioning it with them.
· Sharing knowledge and insight with Capco people.
· Representing the Finance practice to the wider Capco family of services
Specific finance knowledge:
· Designing and delivering Target Operating Models in specific Finance functions and for the overall business area
· Specific change experience in the following:
- Product control
- Independent Pricing Verification (IPV) and valuation control
- Financial control
- Regulatory reporting
- Enterprise Performance Management, including Budgeting and Forecasting
Desired experience
· Prior experience working for a management consultancy
· Prior experience working in a financial institution delivering high quality, structured change
· Proven record of success in project delivery and business analysis for a management consultancy
· Expertise within the Finance Transformation space (CFO agenda) in Banking or Capital Markets
· Strong academic background preferred
· Accountancy qualifications are desirable e.g. ACCA, CIMA , ACA
· Excellent communication skills - the ability to liaise with, influence and resolve difficult situations across a range of internal and external stakeholders
· Project management and delivery excellence (including functional analysis, target operating model development and functional specifications)
Additional Requirements
· 100% travel to client site may be required
