Nordea Markets FICC is looking to recruit Management Consultants to its Global Business Development (GBD) unit, established to foster the continued success for Nordea Markets. GBD acts as an internal management consultancy firm providing strategic analysis and driving global change initiatives across our geographical centres.

You will be employed by Markets FICC in Stockholm, Copenhagen or Helsinki. The position will require some travelling to the Nordic sites.


Provide strategic analysis and drive global change initiatives

Being the leading Nordic bank in today's rapidly changing business environment, we find it vital to have strong internal capabilities to develop global strategies and solutions. You will join GBD, a dynamic team of 12 consultants located throughout the Nordic countries.

You are expected to manage and drive business critical projects from start to finish, and report directly to the Executive Management team in your daily work. Furthermore, over time you are expected to proactively identify strategic initiatives and become a trusted advisor to senior management.

GBD drives projects with a global change ambition, targeting new business opportunities or improved solutions and processes for customers and staff. Projects are typically initiated and delivered in close co-operation with the sales or trading organisations. Strategies and new initiatives often result in changes to our IT platform, hence calling for proper handover of requirements to our IT organisation for subsequent implementations.

You are dedicated, ambitious, and willing to work hard to achieve results

The GBD team is searching for a person who has 3 to 7 years of experience from a business, IT or management consultancy firm, acting as a project or sub project manager and who has prior experience from the financial services industry, e.g. as a financial consultant or business driver of software implementations.

You must understand products, front-to-back trade processes and IT systems in capital markets and be used to act as a business driver between executive management, business staff and IT for the realisation of new ambitions and requirements.

You must be able to deliver results in accordance to set deadlines whilst maintaining attention to details.

You are highly motivated, self-driven and proactive and you are extrovert and able to package and sell ideas to management.

You are fluent in written and verbal English and at least one Nordic language and highly skilled in Microsoft Office
