The Market Operations Technology (MOT) division is responsible for the management of Macquarie's technology infrastructure, the support and development of existing business systems and the delivery and deployment of new systems, technologies and services.
MOT Finance provides financial leadership and cost effective capability in supporting the divisions goals, business growth and IT investment as a business enabler that supports the whole of Macquarie Group. There is the current requirement for an astute accountant to join the team. Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for the monthly management reporting and assisting with ad hoc tasks and duties.
Responsibilities:
- Management reporting and analysis on a global and regional basis
- Preparation of technology aligned team forecasts
- Timeliness and quality of financial information, incidents errors and support to queries from all parties
- Managing over/under recovery through rates or clawbacks/refunds and expense management
- Provision of ad-hoc business support for decision support activities e.g. acquisitions, divestments
- Involvement in current Project activity
Requirements:
- CA / CPA qualified
- Demonstrable relevant experience within a similar capacity - those from Technology will be favourably regarded
- Strong client service focus and willingness to respond to queries and provide deliverables within prompt timeframes
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with commercial acumen
- Attention to detail
