Manager – Market Research recruitment

Role responsibilities:

• Be accountable for the origination and analysis of appropriate and relevant research in order to inform and support initiatives in sales, marketing and product development and the investment capabilities of the organisation.

• Analysis of key industry trends and developments incorporating product and competitor analysis

• Product and market landscaping, fund analysis, competitive understanding and positioning, covering both the institutional and wholesale markets

• Source relevant research data and ensure that it is updated regularly, and commission relevant bespoke research when appropriate to the business strategy

• Maintain the relationship with all the major suppliers of market research data

• Provide up to date and relevant research and analysis to inform the sales, marketing and product development process and the investment capabilities directly.

Skills Experience:

• Sound, in depth experience of marketing and product development  gained from within the Asset management arena

• The ability to work at a conceptual level as well as the ability to drill down into detail, both quantitative and qualitative is crucial

• Ability to present analysis and research in an accessible and engaging manner to all areas of the business

• Likely to have a minimum of 5 years Asset management experience ideally with around 3 years in market research

• Excellent written communication skills

• Excellent knowledge of the key trends driving the asset management industry and a curiosity to develop that knowledge

• IMC and Degree calibre
