Manager – Technical Advisory Group recruitment
Providing a wide range of support and technical expertise, our Finance team makes sure that we’re making the right decisions for both our business and our customers.
Right now, we’re looking for a Manager in our Technical Advisory Group within our accounting department, who will assist in providing technical accounting guidance globally to all businesses and staff groups, whilst monitoring emerging GAAP (US and IFRS). The role will also support local markets on IFRS filings and related technical issues, IFRS policies, technical training and assisting markets in the first-time adoption of IFRS. Individuals will also have the opportunity to support both the US GAAP and IFRS technical accounting needs of various American Express business units and legal entities.
We’re looking for a talented individual with strong IFRS technical accounting knowledge, expertise and experience. With the ability to research technical accounting issues thoroughly and present financial information in a concise manner, you’ll hold a recognised accounting certification (Chartered Accountant, CPA etc.), and US GAAP experience is welcomed but not required.
