Travel the Country Selling our {VERY SUCCESSFUL SPIRITS-RELATED PRODUCT} and Having Fun!

 

And by spirits, we mean cocktails and such, not the souls of the departed... 

We are a small design company based in southern CT.  Five years ago we invented a {VERY SUCCESSFUL SPIRITS-RELATED PRODUCT} that has transformed the spirits market and launched a new product niche.  We have been having a blast ever since!

 

Today, our {VERY SUCCESSFUL SPIRITS-RELATED PRODUCT} is sold throughout the United States and abroad to individuals, stores, companies, restaurants and bars.  Focused on exploiting substantial new opportunities for our {VERY WELL-KNOWN SPIRITS-RELATED PRODUCT} in the US custom and promotional market, we are creating a new position in our company –Chief {VERY SUCCESSFUL SPIRITS-RELATED PRODUCT} Officer. 

 

Don’t misunderstand, nobody reports to you.  In fact, you are chief of yourself only – and actually not really that either as you report to the CEO.  However, you are a highly capable lone wolf sales person and an amazing opener-closer.  You have a fondness for and awareness of spirits and you know how to talk about them.  You have experience in food and beverage, wine and spirits and in selling to the higher-end custom and promotional market. You like getting people excited about the things you sell - and in living the product lifestyle. Frankly, we’re not really sure what that means, but we know when we don’t see it.

You are NOT a multi-line sales rep!

 

This role will be that of true road salesperson with frequent and extended travel as you hunt for and close custom and promo deals around the country.  You will be experienced and creative in identifying your target customers and in developing and executing a sales plan that takes into account product strategy, management directives, and operational realities as well as sales goals and quotas. By the way, you never met a quota you were afraid to beat.

 

The market potential is significant and the selection process for this role will be equally rigorous.  Unless you are absolutely at the top of your game, please don’t apply.  If you think this is a role it will be OK for you to grow into, you need not apply. We want someone who can drive results immediately as we take our winning formula to a new market.

And while we are based in southern CT you need not be - you will be on the road much of the time anyway.
