Manager, Analytics
The Analytics team at Wyndham Exchange Rentals (WER) has an opening for a Manager, Analytics. This position will:
- Provide primary analysis, design and overall guidance in revenue management and pricing algorithm development and support for the company's various lines of business
- Supervise junior and senior level analysts in a variety of ad hoc and medium-term analysis projects
- Serve as a source of thought leadership in all areas of forecasting, optimization and other management science techniques utilized by the WER Analytics organization
- Work with staff across various departments and business units to translate business requirements into coherent technical problem statements
- Provide project management expertise to ensure timely delivery of analytical solutions
- M.S or PhD in operations research, economics, financial engineering, statistics or similar economically and quantitatively-oriented discipline
- 5 years experience in an analytics environment with progressive supervisory and project management experience
- Strong applied business and technical knowledge of revenue management and pricing
- Experience in the design and development of large scale forecasting and mathematical optimization models
- Experience with SQL and statistical packages such as SAS, R, SPSS etc. required
- Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Object oriented programming skills in C++, Java or C# and experience with a optimization modeling package such as Xpress or CPLEX desirable but not required
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Intellectual curiosity and results oriented focus are a must
