Role:

To become a part of Asia’s leading structured trade and commodity finance team managing a portfolio of local and regional corporate clients in energy, soft and hard commodities.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include marketing the Bank’s structured trade services and structured innovative financing solutions to prospective targeted clients in the targeted commodity markets.

Furthermore, you will be expected to generate returns on risk adjusted assets and equity consistent and commensurate with the Bank’s acceptable risk parameters and in line with the stakeholders’ expectations. The identification and development of new markets, structured trade financing products and services is essential, whist simultaneously developing and managing bilateral relationships with existing clients. An ability to prepare credit applications, credit renewal and undertake periodic review of credit files and facilities.

Key Skills:

The ideal candidate will have an extensive and wide customer base within energy, soft and hard commodities. Experience and knowledge in structuring trade financing solutions tailored to the specific needs of structured trade and commodity finance clients. Good knowledge of local and regional commodity markets is a prerequisite. Furthermore, a good understanding and appreciation as well as ability to mitigate transactional risks in structured trade and commodity finance transactions are essential.

General Requirements:

A minimum 5 years relevant experience in active structured trade and commodity finance banks with an ability to work in a start-up environment with good risk appraisal capacity and judgment.

Strong marketing and negotiation skills. A degree in banking, accountancy, or business administration.
