Must have worked as a Manager with a Managers Title and have at least 3 years experience as a Body Shop Manager.

7-10 years job related experience, automotive background preferred 

Required 4 year degree in business or related field

Role summary 

Lead teams of Assistant Managers, Group Leaders, Team Leaders, Production/Skilled Team Members, and Administrative Team Members in an automotive manufacturing environment to meet and exceed company goals and objectives. Responsible for the overall production output, quality, and process costs. 

Role responsibilities 

Lead teams of Assistant Managers, Group Leaders, Team Leaders, Production/Skilled Team Members, and Administrative Team Members in an automotive manufacturing environment to meet and exceed company goals and objectives 

• Manage the production process to ensure processes meet safety standards, quality standards, environmental, and OSHA regulations 

• Create a continuous improvement environment to develop best in class production system 

• Coordinate production trials for model changes 

• Motivate team members and develop teamwork 

• Manage the maintenance team to minimize production delays due to equipment issues 

• Develop KPIs(Key Performance Indicators) and analyze data to monitor performance and plan improvements 

• Allocate and manage staff resources 

• Monitor safety, quality, cost, and productivity, with improvement activities for all aspects of production 

• Responsible for annual administrative, operational, and capital budget submittal and management 

• Provide direction and assistance to analyze production issues, propose countermeasures, and resolve issues 

• Collaborate with other production departments, quality, production control, and engineering to provide best in class product quality 

• Identify training opportunities and implement training plans to improve overall organizational capability 

• Develop policies and procedures 

• Complete annual performance reviews and create development plans for direct reports
