Manager Business Restructuring Services Description
As a Manager in Business Restructuring Services, you are part of the restructuring team that provides services to companies or organisations that are under financial pressure or to one or more of their stakeholders. You analyse the situation and the short-term liquidity and subsequently list the potential restructuring options of your client. You also play an important role in implementing the restructuring scheme. Furthermore, you are able to review or assist in the development of a medium-term business and cash-flow plan. You manage a team and report on the day-to-day developments to the senior team members of the assignment. You guide and coach your team members and are the person with whom they can exchange thoughts, ideas and suggestions for their work. You are responsible for the timely execution of assignments to a high standard. You contribute to the further expansion of our restructuring assignment portfolio. The Business Restructuring Services department is part of PwC's Deals practice. It focuses on companies and organisations in financial difficulties and deploys all the competences within PwC that are needed to make a success of the restructuring assignment, such as due-diligence specialists, tax experts and corporate-finance advisers.
Qualifications
- You have an economics degree or/and a law degree, or an academic degree in exact sciences, business administration, business economics, econometrics or a technical field.
- You have a minimum of 4 to 5 years’ relevant working experience, either in an international audit practice or in a financial institution, a corporate-finance or business-development department within a bank or a corporation, or you have experience in the 'intensive care/restructuring' department of a bank.
- You are thorough and have clear opinions that you gladly share with others. You are analytical and pragmatic and have good communication skills.
- It goes without saying that you like to work in a team.
- You like analysing and solving new issues in a practical, creative manner.
- With your advising skills, you know how to inspire and retain clients.
- You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.
