Manager Corporate Actions and Dividends recruitment
An experienced manager is sought to head up our client's Asset Servicing team, and will be responsible for the day to day management of all aspects of the corporate action, dividend (including manufactured dividends) and tax process. The asset servicing team is responsible for all events in global markets and across a wide range of products.
The asset services manager will have responsibility for a team that comprises of dividend, tax, and corporate actions specialists. The main duties and responsibilities of the asset services manager role:
* Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of dividend events from capture of event through to settlement of claims
* Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of corporate action events to include event capture and maintenance, client notifications, deadline and election management and entitlement and claim management
* Tax refund process
* Monitoring Nostro and depot reconciliations
* Ensure all breaks are kept within acceptable KPI levels
* Monitoring internal dividend and corporate action control accounts
* Implementation and maintenance of all control and risk related procedures
The successful asset services manager will have:
* Experience at manager level within an investment banking background
* Experience of all aspects of asset servicing - corporate actions, dividends and manufactured dividends and tax
* Exposure to global markets
* Exposure to a variety of products
* Good technical skills to include excel/word applications
* Strong communication skills
* A strong desire to develop a team and be able to demonstrate strong people management skills and techniques
The successful asset services manager will have the opportunity to work within the existing asset servicing team where they will be involved in the ongoing development of the process and service. They will also have the opportunity to develop their skills further in relation to people and process management.
